AbbVie is a public biopharmaceutical company that started as a spinoff of Abbott Laboratories. In the 2017 fiscal year, AbbVie reported $30.95 billion in sales with revenue per share at $19.49. They showed positive quarterly revenue growth at 19.2 percent and a small amount of quarterly earnings growth at 3.6 percent.
