Alliance Data

Alliance Data is a public company that works exclusively I the area of marketing programs and loyalty programs as well as providing private label credit cards. They not only provide the framework for the services, but they also provide ways to capture and analyze the data and help with direct marketing strategies. They own the Epsilon Company as well; which is one of the largest data management companies on the planet. The organization has approximately 20,000 employees as of 2017, and some of the open positions that a job seeker might find include early careers program manager, associate project manager, client partner Vice President, account supervisor, bilingual customer service representative, analytics apprentice, dealer marketing consultant, senior digital marketing consultant and art director.

This company was formed when the credit card processing arm of JCPenney’s merged with the Limited’s credit card operations. This gave the company to valuable assets that provided air miles to customers including Canada’s Air Miles Rewards Program and LoyaltyOne. The company was then nearly sold to the Blackstone Group in 2007, but the deal was terminated in April 2008. Some of the other acquisitions that they or their subsidiaries have made over the years include Colloquy, Bigfoot Interactive, DoubleClick, Abacus, Heartland Payment Systems, Hyper Marketing and Catapult.

The company just has the single location at 7500 Dallas Parkway, Suite 700, in Plano, Texas. They do not do much internationally, although they do have some customers in other parts of the world. In addition, they work with just the three arms of the company that currently exist: Alliance Data Card Services, Epsilon and LoyaltyOne. As for their financials, they reported revenue of $7.71 billion dollars in 2017 with operating income of $1.65 billion. Their total assets were valued at $30.68 billion as well.
