Amkor Technology Incorporated is a semiconductor packaging company and provider of testing services. The company headquarters is in Tempe, Arizona, where it moved in 2005. Previously, the headquarters was in West Chester, Pennsylvania. The company has over 29,000 employees and many of them are located around the world. They have factories all over the world and it made several acquisitions that have expanded their business even further. They are one of the leading names in the semiconductor business, packaging and testing integrated circuits for chip manufacturers.

The company has expanded a great deal, including placing factories in China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal, Taiwan, and the Philippines. Recently, the company acquired the largest outsourced semiconductor assembly and test provider in Japan. They've also been recognized for their chip assembly and thermal compression technology. This is a publicly traded company that reported $4.37 billion in revenue as of the 2017 fiscal year with revenue per share at $18.27. They also had quarterly revenue growth of 5.7 percent with a gross profit of $757.27 million.
