GE Capital

GE Capital is an American financial services Corporation in a unit of the overall General Electric company. They provide commercial leasing and lending and broad range of financial services and products. They almost exclusively work in the energy in commercial aviation sectors. This supports their business units. The parent companies General Electric, and they have approximately 313,000 employees as of 2017. As for jobs with GE Capital, some of the categories include software engineering, sales and advanced manufacturing. The company began on April 10 of 2015. The CEO at the time of General Electric announced that they would sell most of GE capital to create an independent company. The areas that were sold included GE Capital Real Estate, GE Capital Sponsor Finance, GE Capital Rail Services, GE Capital Financial Services, GE Capital Equity, GE Capital Transportation Finance and GE Capital Bank. Many of the restaurant finance operations were sold to First Horizon National Corporation as well as to Sterling Bancorp. The hotel franchise operations were sold to Western Alliance Bancorp.

As for overseas operations, there are a lot of them. Some of the places where GE Capital currently does business includes Poland, Australia, Austria, Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Japan, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the Philippines, Romania, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. The parent company reported hundred and $22.95 billion in revenue as of the last fiscal year with revenue per share at $14.15. They also reported a gross profit of $14.87 billion in had both negative quarterly earnings growth and quarterly revenue growth.
