Inter-Con Security Systems

Inter-Con Security Systems is a private security company based in the United States that has its headquarters in Pasadena, California. It was started in Alhambra, California, by a retired LAPD detective in the early 1970s. Since its founding, Inter-Con has expanded globally and serves clients throughout much of North America, South America, Latin America, and Africa. As of 2018, the company employed over 25,000 people. Inter-con has remained a privately owned company since its inception and they offer a diverse range of employment opportunities, with many roles being standard security positions. These include dispatch, patrol, investigations, bodyguard duty, surveillance, and building security. Non-security positions, include information technology, finance, office work, management, and more.

The company was founded in 1973 by Enrique "Hank" Hernandez and his wife Bertha Hernandez. The initial goal of the company was to create more tailored security programs to better fit clients' needs, replacing the standard one-size-fits-all approach.

Inter-Con provides a full range of services including physical security, electronic surveillance and monitoring, security consulting and training, especially services, active shooter response, program management, alarm systems and identification, as well as investigations. Inter-Con Security Systems has employees located all over the world and serves many Fortune 500 companies as well as high profile individuals and organizations.
