MGM Resorts International

MGM Resorts International is an American entertainment hospitality company that has resorts in several different cities across the United States as well as some across the globe as well. Some of the resorts are staples of Las Vegas, and as of 2018, the company employed over 77,000 people. Most of the positions that they hire for are casino positions or hotel positions which can include things like cashiers, reservations agents, event attendance, security, porters, guest room attendants, internal auditors, kitchen workers, front desk receptionist, concierges, that clerks, dealers, workers in the ticket office and just about every other hotel, resort, or casino position that you can think of.

The company began in 1969 when a businessman named Kirk Kerkorian bought controlling shares in the MGM film studio. He had been forced to sell most of his casino company which was called International Leisure to Hilton Hotels due to some debt. When he saw the Las Vegas Hilton become so successful in Las Vegas, he decided to open the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, which can now be found under the name Bally's Las Vegas; the company is now known as MGM Resorts International and provides casinos, luxury accommodations, restaurants, and full-service resorts all over the world. Some of the resorts include the MGM Grand, the MGM National Harbor, MGM Macau, Park MGM, the Signature Sky Lofts, and the Bellagio.

But MGM resorts are not just located in the United States. In fact, you can find MGM resorts in places like Shanghai, China, Xuyen Moc, Vietnam, Northern Territory, and Australia. MGM Resorts is a publicly traded company that reported revenue of $10.67 billion for the 2017 fiscal year with revenue per share reported at $18.95. They also showed quarterly revenue growth of 7.9 percent.
