Schneider National is a provider of logistic services in a trucking company that provides long-haul, short-term, expedited, dedicated, bulk, brokerage, logistics, and supply chain services and trucking management, as well as a number of other products and services. As of the 2017 year, they had over 17,000 employees. Most of the employment opportunities are for drivers. However, there are other opportunities including dispatch, diesel mechanics to work on the trucks when they come in for service, recruiters to hire drivers and events and over the phone, equipment, and technology orientation workers in various other positions related to the procurement of drivers.

This company began in 1935 and was founded by a man named Al Schneider. Schneider sold his car to buy his first truck in 1935, and set up his company in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This remained a family business with Don Snyder succeeding Al as president on February 9, 1976. He was still president in 2002 when Christopher Lofgren finally took over as president and chief executive officer. The company went public on April 6, 2017, with the initial public offering at $19.50 per share. The primary product the company provides is truckload shipping as well as all of the related services that come with that.

Schneider is located in several locations around the world, although it is based primarily in the United States and most of its trucking centers and supply depots are located within that country. There are also various locations throughout North America, as well as some in China and others in Central America. The company hauls nearly 20,000 loads per day and has over 11,000 drivers. They are a publicly traded company that reported $4.68 billion in revenue as of the 2017 fiscal year and revenue per share of $26.44.
