Waystar

Waystar is a company whose mission is to support their clients and partners in the healthcare industry. They do this through technology solutions that make the revenue cycle simpler - ultimately improving their clients' financial health. Waystar has three locations in the US: Louisville, Kentucky; Chicago, Illinois; and Duluth, Georgia. Waystar was formed in 2000. It was formerly known as Navicure, but acquired another large cloud-based revenue cycle technology company, ZirMed, in September of 2017. After this, Navicure changed its name to Waystar at the beginning of 2018.

Waystar's revenue cycle technology integrates the various needs of the healthcare system into one cloud-based system. Among the system's services are insurance verification, claims management, and the patient financial experience. This technology serves over 440,000 healthcare providers and it can integrate with more than 530 leading software systems. Waystar has been given the Best in KLAS award every year since 2010.

While Waystar is a private company, they bring in an estimated annual revenue of $15 million as of 2018. Waystar also acquired ORCS Transactions Services in October of 2018.
