Wells Fargo and Company is American multinational financial services company that is located in San Francisco, California, home with other central offices in cities throughout the country. By market capital, it is the second largest bank in the world and it is the fourth largest bank in the United States counting total assets. The company boasts a total of 262,700 employees as of 2017, with many of those positions in the retail banking industry. With more than 8200 retail centers in the United States, the bank offers employment opportunities for tellers, bank managers, loan officers, financial services workers, brokers, and more.

Wells Fargo was founded on March 18, 1852. It was founded in New York City, New York, by Henry Wells and William Fargo.
